Building Race Car Ramps in Second Grade
Mrs. Bralley’s and Mr. Summer’s Classes built race car tracks in the Makerspace while practicing measurement. They used foam pipe insulation, toilet and paper towel rolls, tape, plastic cups, and a racecar. The cars went really far and tested their math skills as students needed multiple yard sticks to measure how far their cars traveled.
