Giant Rube Goldberg Machine MakerWorkshop
Students in grades 3-5 stayed after school for two days a few weeks ago to create a giant Rube Goldberg machine. They worked together to make their machine go around the classroom. While it didn’t work perfectly at the end of the workshop (for our grand final run), everyone had fun. This also gave students a great lesson is letting go of perfection and being okay if things don’t go exactly right which is really, really, really HARD to do. I think the students would have stayed all night to get it JUST right if their parents hadn’t of been lined up outside to pick them up. Check out our not-so-perfect final run below:
