Dash and Dot Robotics

Students at Oak Grove have been exploring Dash and Dot Robotics with Mrs. Mitchell.  Dash and Dot are adorable robots that can be programmed with different apps.  Students from Kindergarten to Fifth Grade can use them and learn to code.

After learning the basics of coding, students were challenged to use Dash to plow snow (aka cotton balls).  They had to design a snow plow to attach to Dash and use code to move the “snow” into the snow collection area.  Once the challenge started, they could only use code to move Dash.
